Michele Elliott chosen as Children and Young People's Champion by Children & Young People Now

Congratulations!

Michele Elliott, Kidscape’s founder, was chosen Children and Young People’s Now champion for 2009. The award is unique, as young people join adult professionals in the judging.

One of the young judges commented, “Michele is amazing, and her dedication and the changes she has enforced are brilliant.”

She received a standing ovation from the six hundred people present, and a weighty trophy for the office. “I was so moved,” she says. “This is an award I’ll treasure.”
