Kidscape Supporters

You could follow in the footsteps of current companies and organisations that have already helped Kidscape. If you work for a company which nominates a charity to support each year then you can read why Kidscape is a great charity to choose or email us for details of how you can get involved.

Specsavers
Specsavers Opticians is the UK's most trusted opticians for glasses, prescription sunglasses and contact lenses. Specsavers is supporting Kidscape for the second year through its Spectacle Wearer of the year competition, which raised £40,000 for Kidscape in 2008

Spiked
Spiked is a new extreme sports magazine which was launched with great success in May 2009.

The Spiked aim is to encourage people of all ages to get involved in physical activity or extreme sports with the key aim of building confidence, having fun and getting fit. Spiked is promoting Kidscape’s work through a column in each issue of the magazine as well as fundraising events and joint projects over the coming years.

MAF-UK
MAF-UK is the UK’s biggest martial arts festival. There is a strong link between martial arts and confidence-building and Kidscape frequently recommends that young people take up martial arts as a form of release from anger or aggression which may have built up as a result of being bullied. MAF-UK is run by Kwoklyn Wan, brother of TV stylist Gok Wan, who was himself bullied and is a strong supporter of Kidscape’s work.

MAF-UK is raising awareness of Kidscape’s work at its festivals across the country, as well as fundraising through programme sales and donations at events.

Foresters
Foresters Acorns has chosen Kidscape as their branch charity for 2009.

Foresters is an international financial services organisation which has operated in the UK, US and Canada for 135 years. Staff members are participating in numerous fundraising events throughout the year to support Kidscape’s work.

PKF
PKF (UK) LLP is a leading firm of accountants and business advisors with more than 1500 staff and partners operating in 23 offices in the UK mainland.

Kidscape has been the recipient of a donation in lieu of Christmas cards since 2004.

Argos
Argos is part of Home Retail Group, the UK’s leading home and general merchandise retailer. Argos has been supporting Kidscape’s work for a number of years.

Pizza Express
Pizza Express (Victoria Street) supports us very generously with free pizzas on the days when we have a ZAP session.

Starbucks Coffee Company (UK) Ltd
Starbucks kindly provides free coffee and muffins for our parents’ ZAP sessions.

New Balance is a leading global athletic products company, and is a brand concerned with meeting the needs of the everyday athlete. New Balance generously provides Kidscape with trainers for runners in our sporting events
