The
Kidscape & Girlguiding UK Change the World Project
Our project with Girlguiding UK ended with a huge party at Crystal Palace, when thousands of Guides gathered for music and celebration--a big birthday party.
Kidscape was there, too, with special games for the girls. Our programme was the second-most popular of those chosen by the girls among the Change the World projects, and we received lots of accolades from leaders and girls.
One leader wrote: "We felt it was pitched at the right level with really good fun for the girls but with confidence, on the part of the leaders, that our Rainbows have learned about being good friends." We received many donations, as well as the praise. An exciting and challenging project all round, and Happy Birthday to Girlguiding UK!
