Lauren Seager-Smith



Lauren joined Kidscape in January 2017. Previous to this Lauren led the work of the Anti-Bullying Alliance, based at the National Children’s Bureau, providing leadership across the sector, delivering high impact programme work to tackle bullying and coordinating the Anti-Bullying Week campaign in schools each year.

Lauren has a deep personal commitment to change children's lives for the better and has dedicated her professional life to children and young people. Her work history includes education advocacy work with Save the Children, case work with 13-16 year olds as part of the Reading Borough Council behaviour support service and coordinating international volunteer placements for young people with GAP Activity Projects. 

Lauren holds a number of non executive positions: board member of the UK Safer Internet Centre, member of the Internet Matter Expert Advisory Panel and member of the England Committee for Action for Children. Lauren is also a member of the Fawcett Society and a Fellow of the RSA. Lauren was listed in Who's Who 2018 and is an active blogger and media spokesperson.
