'12 Days of Christmas' with a twist

We’ve made you an online Christmas present!

Our Director of Services, Peter, has come up with a clever twist on the classic Christmas tune ’12 Days of Christmas’ – but with some important cyber safety messages for our young people. We’ve had some fun in the office recording our own version – and we’d love you to do the same! You can either sing the whole song or just a verse if you’re pushed for time.

The lyrics are below, and if you do make your own video please either email toby@kidscape.org.uk or upload to your own social media profile and remember to tag us (we’re @kidscape on Twitter or @kidscapecharity on Facebook).

Here’s a few words from Peter:

"There’s lots of information online about how to stay safe - however both parents and teens often ignore advice from the experts. This Christmas cyber song is a fun way of getting the message across. It’s full of advice with an added final message for parents to practise what they preach! Sing it, record it, tweet it. It is so annoying the message really is memorable! Merry Christmas and stay safe online."
