Meet Zoe, our new Communications Manager!

Hello! My name is Zoe Williams, and I’m the new Communications Manager at Kidscape, having joined the team just this month.

My role will be managing and developing our communications, so that you’re getting the best from Kidscape.

I’m a communicator and a campaigner. I previously worked at the Sickle Cell Society UK, the UK’s only national charity for sickle cell disorder (a genetic blood disorder), and before that I’ve worked on an eclectic mix of charitable and third-sector campaigns, including media reform, supporting people in communicating with their councillors, and increasing women’s representations in politics.

I’m excited to be taking the next step, to work with Kidscape. When I was a child, like many others, I experienced bullying. I didn’t have the tools to cope with it. I’ve also witnessed bullying from the other end when I worked as a Learning Support Assistant, many years ago. Once again, I didn’t feel like I had the skills and knowledge to support the children and young people. This is why it’s so positive that a charity like Kidscape exists, and I hope fewer and fewer people will have experiences like mine. I’m hugely excited to be getting involved in this vital work!

If you have any questions, ideas for what you'd like to see from Kidscape's comms, please get in touch:
