Kidscape, the anti-bullying charity that helps, is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Joseph to the position of Chair of Trustees.

Ian is Managing Director of Russam GMS - the UK's longest established interim management company and a senior executive search business.

His varied career includes being a founding board member of Trustees Unlimited and a co-founder of Step On Board, and has previously been a CEO of a charity which specialises in homelessness, addiction, mentoring and international development. Ian experienced bullying for much of his childhood.

Ian joined the board last year and was formally sworn in as Chair of Trustees on 27th March 2019.

Chair of Kidscape Ian Joseph said:

“I’m thrilled and honoured to be asked to chair Kidscape. Kidscape works with thousands of children and hundreds of parents and carers each year and I’ve seen first-hand the transformative impact it has. As someone who has personal experience of being bullied, I’m delighted to be able to serve the charity in this way. Kidscape is ambitious and forward thinking and we are hugely excited about the years ahead.”

Kidscape CEO Lauren Seager-Smith said:

“It’s a delight and a privilege to welcome Ian Joseph as chair of Kidscape. Ian’s vast experience and understanding of leadership in the charity sector will help take our life-changing work to the next level.”
