Help children challenge bullying with Benna the Bat
Hang out with Benna in our brand-new batty resource, designed especially for this year's Anti-Bullying Week!
Benna knows how to make a noise - but when she sees someone being bullied, it's hard to speak up. Help children learn about the importance of challenging bullying with our Benna the Bat activity pack, including a story, activity cards, and ideas for discussion.
- Download the activity pack
- Download the Benna Makes A Noise story, read by Jill Halfpenny. Jill reads Benna's story like a real book in the PowerPoint Presentation. Just start the slide show to begin listening!
Benna the bat was drawn by Laura Brown for Kidscape. You can find out more about Laura's beautiful My Emotions Activity Book on her website.

Take part in free activities
With our free activities, your child can get creative and develop kind, healthy friendships.
Help your child learn about friendships

Download the official anti-bullying week pack for parents and carers
We've worked with the Anti-Bullying Alliance to create the anti-bullying week parent and carer toolkit. It includes information about bullying, tips about what to do if you're worried about bullying, and how to get involved this Anti-Bullying Week.
Reach out to your friends - and encourage your child to do the same
Reach out to your friends to show you care - and encourage your children to do the same! Send an e-card to show your friends you're thinking about them, or get some inspiration from our Reach Out pack. It's full of activities and ideas, whether you want to show some love to close friends or reach out to someone you haven't seen in a while.
Read top tips about how to deal with bullying
Take a look at our top tips for dealing with bullying, available in multiple languages. We've got a version for parents and carers, and another especially for children and young people.
Spread the word to other parents and carers
Help us to reach as many families as possible who are impacted by bullying by supporting us on social media. Simply share or like Kidscape's posts! We're on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
If you want to write your own post, you could write something like: Too often, we're silent when we see bullying take place, silent about the hurt bullying causes, and silent when bullying is dismissed as ‘just banter’. It doesn't have to be this way.
Let's #MakeANoise about bullying this #AntiBullyingWeek
